Charles Ray Goodroe, 93, a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on May 11, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Columbus, Georgia on March 26, 1922 to the late O.O. Goodroe and the late Minnie Ruth McCullough. Charles attended Columbus school and graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in electrical engineering. He served in the military; and in China, Burma, India theater. He had 38 years with TVA and was active in Cumberland Presbeteryian Church until his health failed.

Along with his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his son, William M Goodroe.

Survivors include wife Gene Flautt Goodroe, daughter Elizabeth Jane Goodroe, daughter in law, Julie N. Goodroe of Flowery Branch, Georgia; son, Robert L. Goodroe (Kathy); sister, Marie Goodroe Cunningham of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
