Charles "Charlie" Lamar Pace

Charles "Charlie" Lamar Pace, 50, of Rock Spring, GA, passed away April 22, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family. He was born on July 22, 1974.

Charlie was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish, take walks in the woods, and being out in nature. Charlie loved spending time with his family and friends, cooking out around a campfire. He was a ruff stock contestant in the Rodeo circuit and did all three of the ruff stock events for the first year of his career. The last 10 year of his career he only rode the bulls. The bulls was where his heart was. Charlie also loved riding horses with his son and friends and camping. He was someone who loved working and making stuff with his hands. Some of the things he made were arrows, bows, and knives. Charlie also loved to make things out of horseshoes. He worked for years as a Fabricator and welder.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, David Vernon Pace, Sr., Thelma Janet Tucker Pace, Myra Jean Brookshire Broome, George Wile Hill, and niece, Marinda Pace.

Charlie is survived by his parents, David and Joyce Pace; his loving wife, Chastity Pace; son, Dakota (Taylor) Pace; sister, Jeanne (Tony) Presley; brother, Ross (Lisa) Pace; grandchildren, Lane and Luke Pace; nieces, Jesse Presley, Sarah Pace and Olivia Pace; nephew, Marcus Pace; a host of great nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
