Charles Michael Harper Sr.

Charles Michael Harper Sr. lost his battle with cancer on Saturday morning, February 25th, 2017 at the home of his daughter Angel Harper. Mike was born September 6th, 1963 in Hammond, Ind. But spent most of his life in Tennessee. He was a farmer and also worked in logging. Mike was of the Church of God faith.

He is preceded in death by his wife Tracey Melton Harper, and his father Oscar Harper Jr.

Mike survived by two daughter and sons in laws: angel Harper (Casey) and Christena Harper (John), one son Charles Michael Harper Jr., mother Opal Dilbeck Harper his fiancée and care giver Jacky Bunch, sisters and brothers in law: Donna Grady Teague, Michelle Williams, June & Gordon Swallows, Denise & John Myers, one brother Danny Harper, grandchildren Aleigah & Selena Felix, Olivia Wright, Boston & Skyler Morgan, an aunt & uncle Charles & Ann Bryant and his dog “Trouble” whom he loved so much.

At Mike’s request there will be no formal services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
