Charles Larue Spears

Charles Larue Spears of Cleveland, TN went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2016.

He was born November 29, 1943 in Clio, AL to M.W. Spears Jr. and Ida Adams Spears, who have predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Karla and children Kristen Dansby (Kevin) of Cleveland, TN, Chase Spears (Lori) of Eagle River, AK, Chad Spears (Teagan) of White Oak, TX, and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Larry Spears (Pat) of LaGrange, GA, Terry Spears (Laura) of Groveland, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Jerry and Rodney.

Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home parlor.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with Pastor Gary Sears officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery and will conclude with military honors to honor Charles’s service to our country.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorials to be made to either the Mt. Olive Ministries’ Clay Pot Ministry or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
