Charles Jones 80, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in the hospital surrounded by family. Charles was born in Chattanooga, TN on May 26, 1944, to the late Will and Mary Ella Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Sam Waller and Phillip Jones; sisters: Mae W. Harden and Christine C. Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Charles Jones, Jr.; grandchildren: Charles Jones III, Arcadia Jones, Layla Kimbrough, Jayden Jones, and Kamari Jones. Sister-in-law, Virginia C. Jones., devoted nieces: Sonya C. Shannon and Duana Cooper, several other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Charles loved and was loved and appreciated by his neighbors: Ms. Ruth Williams and family, Ms. Courtenay Cholovich, and others.
There will be no service.
