Charles Hysinger

Charles Lee Hysinger, 80, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. He was born on November 19, 1943 in Cleveland to the late J.A. and Maxie Mae Hysinger. Charles loved our Lord Jesus, and he exhibited it every day in the way he loved people and sang old hymns. He had been married for 50 years and loved his wife and especially his grandson who was his pride and joy. He will be missed by his family dearly until we are reunited in our heavenly homeland.

Charles loved his Hopewell community. He and his family were active members at the North Cleveland Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School for many years where he met lifelong friends whom he loved dearly. Charles also had a heart for missions, and he used his carpentry skills to help people all around the world and right here at home. He also worked with the Royal Ambassadors for many years on a local and state level.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Hysinger; brothers, Bobby Hysinger, and Stanley Hysinger; and his sister-in-law, Carolyn Hysinger.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Jill (Todd) Chastain; son, Jay (Tiffany) Hysinger; his grandson, Jayden Hysinger; brother, Earl (Donna) Hysinger; along with Many nieces, nephews, and extended family that he loved.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm at North Cleveland Baptist Church with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
