Charles Hines

Charles William "Cotton" Hines, a Vietnam Veteran, passed away on Saturday, November 11th at the age of 75 with his children by his side.

He is preceded in death by his mother Jean Beard Hines and father Bill Hines; grandmother Pearl Hines; beloved siblings Vickie Wright, Johnnie Ruth Pinela, and Terry Hines.

He is survived by his daughter Jill Glover (Matt Ruth), son Tim Hines (Vickie), grandaughters Riley Leach (Todd), Laney Glover (Brance Falls), the mother of his children Gail Mikel, stepmother Geraldine HInes, half brother Jason Hines, and the family dog Diesel.

His last place of employment was Cleveland Boat Center, where he considered his coworkers his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

He loved Parksville Lake, where he spent a lot of his time, and where his family will be returning to spread some of his cremated remains. His family has requested no service at this time.
