Charles Herbert Burnette

Charles Herbert Burnette born July 6, 1941 (78), resident of Athens, TN passed away in Chattanooga, TN April 20, 2020.
He was born in Sweetwater, TN to the late William and Myrtle Burnette and was preceeded in death by his brother William Burnette(Frances) and sister Eula Stocktson(Luis).
Charles proudly served in the U.S. Navy and had a long career in Law Enforcement.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife Lorna Burnette, children: Kimberly Miller(Marty Frenkel), Rick Burnette and Christopher Burnette(Gena). Grandchildren: Ryan Miller, Kyle Miller, Sarah Burnette and Ian Burnette. Brothers: Kyle Burnette(Pat) and Hollis Burnette(Olga).
In honor of Charles' service to our country his remains will be interred in the Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.
