Obituary
Charles Edward Hawkins, 87, of Cleveland, TN passed away on August 8, 2015. He was born on March 23, 1928 to the late David and Myrta Hawkins. Charles was a lifelong resident of this area and retired from Brown Stove Works after 42 years of service. He loved being outdoors and working in his garden. Above all things he will be remembered for, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by one brother Freddie Hawkins.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 63 years, Estelle Hawkins; four daughters: Nancy (Charlie) Reagan; Bonnie (John) Stevenson; Sandra Lindsey; Karen (Danny) Bonner; one son Doyle (Jenny) Hawkins; six grandchildren: Christopher Reagan, Christy Thomas, Jonathan Stevenson, Nathaniel Bonner, Andrew Bonner, and Stephen Lindsey; three great granddaughters: Mackenzie and Kayli Reagan, McKenzie Stevenson; three sisters: Ruth Ensley, Betty Bishop, and Irene Reagan; two brothers: Burt Hawkins, and Ennis Hawkins.
A private family visitation will be held and the interment will be held at Sugar Creek Cemetery.
