Charles "Chuck" Harder

Charles ( Chuck ) Harder, 75, of Birchwood, passed away on Saturday, August 10 in Cleveland. Chuck was born on March 10, 1949 in Hudson, NY to the late Charles and Mary Jane Harder, Sr.

He was in the grocery business for many years. After retiring, he delivered papers for the Cleveland Daily Banner in the Birchwood area.

He was a member of the American Amateur Radio Club (KB4JOM).

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis, and his in-laws James and Lowella Boyd.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lynne; a daughter, Jami (Chase); a gran ddaughter, Leila, and an unborn grandchild due in December; his brother Dan (Angie); his sister Pam; his in-laws Kathy Ludwig, James (Temple) Boyd and Barry Boyd.

He leaves a very special aunt Dolores in NY who loved her "Chuckie"; many cousins and special cousin Christine in NY.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Companion Funeral Home, Cleveland Chapel, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, from 3-5 pm with a prayer service at 5pm.
