Charles Edward Scoggins

Charles Edward Scoggins, 68 of Cleveland, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was an avid lover of Southern Gospel music and sang with multiple Gospel groups. Prior to becoming a farmer, he retired as a Lieutenant from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.

He is preceded in death by his parents Reverend Arthur Scoggins and Della Underwood Scoggins.

He is survived by his sisters Virginia Jo Dills (son Billy Henley) and Wilma Ensley (husband Ralph); three sons Dewayne Scoggins (wife Teresa), David Scoggins (wife Tracy), and Donnie Scoggins (wife Rebekah); five grandchildren Katelin Arceri, Dawson Scoggins, Avery, David, and Dustin Scoggins; and two great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Sunday, March 10th from 2:00-4:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home, Cleveland, TN.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Charlie’s memory.
