Charles (Chuck) Delay, Jr.

Cleveland native Charles (Chuck) Delay Jr., age 66, passed away unexpectedly July 18, 2022 at his residence in Columbus, Ohio. He had been in the furniture business for 30 yrs. He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School. Chuck loved the Tennessee Mountains, rivers and fishing. Deeply loved, he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Survivors are: children, Emily and Jacob Delay of Columbus, Ohio; mother, Norma Delay of Cleveland; sisters, Sheron Thompson, Cleveland and Donna (Tony) Massie, Old Fort, TN.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Predeceased by his Father Charles H. Delay Sr.; sister Gail Ray; nephew Jason Lawson; grandparents James Lee and Anna Lee Carroll, and Jim and Esteleene Delay.

A memorial service for Chuck will be held at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jim Gibson officiating. One hour of visitation will be held from 2:00 - 3:00 before the memorial service. Companion Funeral Home and the Cody family are honored to assist the Delay family with these arrangements.
