Charles "Charlie" Blackburn

Charles “Charlie” Edgar Blackburn, born on April 17, 1948, left his journey on earth on August 13, 2021.
He traveled this country for over 40 years. He loved his job as a professional trucker, and he earned several awards for his work. Along the way, he had many friends in the trucking industry, and he valued them deeply. He loved fishing and camping, but his greatest joy was his family, grandchildren, and great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Dollie Blackburn; his brothers, Randy and Gary; and daughter, Shannon Bolin.
He is survived by his wife, Patti, of 40 years; children: Carmen Heath, Savannah Blackburn, Jeff Blackburn, Shane Blackburn, and Walker Blackburn; grandchildren: Harleigh, Katelyn, Mason, Brianna, Nico, Sophie, and Emma; great grandson, Bentley; sister, Sue Blackburn; and brother, Ray Blackburn.
At Charlie’s request, there will be a private memorial service for immediate family at a later date.
