Charles Cameron Jr.

Charles David Cameron Jr., 70, a lifelong resident of Cleveland and Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2024 surrounded by his son, Josh Cameron, daughter, Destiny Arnold and brother, Gary Cameron.

Chuck was born in Cleveland on April 18, 1954, the son of the late Charles Sr and Jane Cameron. He was of the Baptist faith. Chuck was a police officer in Cleveland, TN for 17 years before moving to Knoxville to be the Lost Prevention Control Director at Goody's Family Clothing. Upon his retirement at Goody's, he worked part time at Oreilly's Auto Parts in Knoxville Tn. Chuck's hobbies included riding his Indian motorcycle across the country and through the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee and spending time with his family and friends. Chuck started and organized a motorcycle rally (SITS) Smokin in the Smokies every September for 20 years giving him the name Mufasa, The Godfather of SITS. Chuck's rally included riders (family) from all across the country including Canada and Germany. He was a staunch 2nd amendment supporter and loved to shoot at the Cleveland Hunting rifle and pistol club with family and friends.

In addition to his parents Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Cameron. Chuck leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Josh Cameron (Nashville); Grandchildren, Emma, Kade and Brooke; daughter, Destiny Arnold (Nashville); Grandchildren, Gage, Conner and Tucker; brother, Gary Cameron and wife, SoYing of Cleveland, Tn; and several nieces, nephews and numerous extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends and family on a Memorial Ride in September 2025 to spread his ashes, where his wife was put to rest, during the week of September 14, 2025.
