Obituary
Charles Arnold Thompson Jr, 62, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away in his apartment on Tuesday May 20th, 2014. Charles was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 22nd, 1951 a son to the late Charles Thompson, Sr. and Ruth Thompson. He was of the Baptist faith. Charles enjoyed playing golf as well as spending time with his friends.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his only brother, Jack E. Thompson.
Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory, one son Charles Thompson III (Jeanna), one daughter Julie Shipley (Lance), seven grandchildren Emily Grace Thompson, Abby Claire Thompson, Hollis Thompson, Henry Thompson, Brock Shipley, Tyler Shipley, Avari Shipley, along with numerous other extended family members and friends.
A graveside memorial is planned for Saturday May 24th, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Harrison Cemetery located on 58 Highway.
