Charlene Lewis

Ruby Charlene Lewis, 93, a resident of McDonald, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday February 18, 2018. She was born in Fletcher, Oklahoma on March 6, 1924 to the late William and Georgia Crider. She was a member of New Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Roy M. Lewis; son, Roy Olen Lewis; and siblings, Mitchell Crider, Bess Harden, Pearl Randolph, Viola Caldwell, and Allene Dunn.
Charlene is survived by her children, Garold Lewis (Nancy) and Tana Sue Lawson (Tim); daughter-in-law, Shirley Lewis; sisters, Joyce Wilson and Jimmie Lou Peden; sister in law Mary Lewis; grandchildren, Charles Lewis (Janet), Keith Lewis, Amy Cagle (Dewaine), Schonna Young (J.R.), Karen Lillard (Bobby), Justin Lawson, and Shaun Lawson (Shea); along with several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, with Reverend Sam Melton officiating the service.
Following the service, Ms. Charlene will be laid to rest in the Sunset Memorial Gardens beside her beloved husband.
