Cedric Nathaniel James

Cedric Nathaniel James, 65 years old, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on March 28, 2023, at Tennova Hospital unexpectedly.

Cedric was born on 03/26/1958 to Leon and Thelma James in Memphis, Tennessee and he graduated from North Side High School. As a child Cedric loved to run which lead him to run Track and Field at North Side High School in Memphis Tennessee.

One of Cedric's passions was that he loved the Lord. He was an active member of his church community and found great comfort in his faith. Cedric will be remembered for his kindness and generous spirit.

He will be missed by his family and friends.

Cedric was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Thelma James, his older brother Leon James Jr.

Cedric is survived by his younger brother Reginald James and sister-in-law Debra James from Chesapeake, Virginia, Nieces Kimberly Winn and Husband Javon, Michelle Satchell and Husband Andre of Houston, Texas, nephew Reginald James Jr. and wife Melanie from Australia.

A celebration of his life will be held at Living Word Church on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 1 pm with Pastor Evan Cockerham officiating.
