Catherine Joy Renner

Catherine Joy Renner, our special angel, age 59 passed away in her home on May 16th, surrounded by loved ones.
The name "Joy" was chosen well before she was born. Little did anyone know that our sweet "Cat Cat" would bring this feeling to every person that had the honor of meeting her.
Cathy had a child-like faith and a special relationship with the Lord.
When I was younger I remember hearing her morning prayer that began with "Good morning Jesus!"
She was the heart of the Renner family.
She taught many about faith in the Lord and compassion for one another and brought pure joy to any that had the fortune to meet this 4'8 angel on earth.
She was very outgoing and never met a stranger.
She is survived by.
Her Mother Sandra Renner (her security and hero) Father Larry Joe Renner (DaDa and cook) Brother Joey Renner (Bubba), her baby sisters Sonja (Bryan) Coffee, and Leslie Renner.

Her nieces Shannon (Steven Teeters) Candi (Brad) Dalton, Christi (Josh) Groce, Beth (Gavin) Currie, Katie (Scott) Guest, Ron (Aimee) Poe, David (Katie) Poe, Rocky (Mary Beth) Stalnaker, Ashley (Kenny) Westmoreland, Steven (Jenny) Stalnaker,and Cierra and Wes Brooks 19 great nieces and nephews also with 2 on the way. She had many aunts and uncles that loved her so. She also had many cousins that she adored (too many to count)
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents L.A. and Hazel Hix, C.L. and Margaret Renner.
She was a true prayer warrior. If a stranger was in need, Cat would pray for them, out loud and proud!
The Renner family has suffered a devastating blow by this loss, but we realize how fortunate we were to have the honor that God gave us by being her family.
We'll miss her "cackling laughter", her mischief, her clowning around and her unyielding faith in God, whom has called his angel back home.
We know that she'll never feel pain again..and she'll always be our "Catbaloo"
The family will receive friends at 3:00pm at Lookout Baptist Church, located at 8645 Hwy 193, Chickamauga, GA 30707, on Wednesday May 18th.
The memorial will follow the visitation at 4:00pm, with fellowship to follow.
