Obituary for Carson Dewayne Hickman
Carson Dewayne Hickman, 59, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on August 1, 2023, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was born on July 30, 1964, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to Carson and Mildred (Hixson) Hickman.
Carson was born and raised in Cleveland, Tennessee, and throughout his life, he developed a profound love for various sports teams, including the Braves Baseball, Tennessee Vols, and Titans football. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan and enjoyed the thrill of racing. Carson had a generous heart and a love for comedy, often brightening the lives of those around him with his sense of humor. He was a hardworking individual who put his heart into everything he did. He had a passion for movies and music and was particularly interested in history, with World War II being a subject close to his heart. But above all, Carson cherished his family, and he was known as the life of the party, bringing joy to gatherings and creating lasting memories.
One of his favorite quotes, attributed to Tony Soprano, was, "They say everyday is a gift, but does it have to be a pair of socks."
Carson is survived by his lovely wife, Kristin D. Hickman, his sons Justin Tyler Hickman and Carson Joseph Hickman, and his daughter Jordan Ashley Ramsey (Michael). He is also survived by his siblings Rita Boring and Terry Hickman, as well as his cherished grandchildren Cameron and Logan Ramsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers.
The family will be holding a memorial celebration to honor Carson's life Memorial Gathering on Saturday, Aug 12th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 03:00 PM. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, Chattanooga chapel.
In our hearts, Carson will forever be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend. His vibrant spirit and sense of humor will be deeply missed, but the memories he leaves behind will continue to bring comfort and joy to those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
