Carolyn Sue Sloan

Carolyn Sue Sloan, age 65, of Madisonville, Tn went to be with her Heavenly Father after a lengthy illness on Saturday August 15, 2020 at 4:30 PM. Carolyn was of the Baptist faith. She graduated from Polk County High School in 1972 and later attended Cleveland State Community College and received her degree in applied Science. She furthered her education at U.T., then Tennessee Wesleyan and later Pellissippi State where she earned her degree as a Pharmacy Technician. She was employed with Walmart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Reed & Martha Cagle Sloan, three brothers Bill Sloan, John Sloan and Mike Sloan, two sisters Eva Long and Janet Hudson and several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memory three sisters Roena Pettijohn of Delano, TN, Mamie Storie of Rockford, TN and Gail Welch of Madisonville, TN, two brothers Don Sloan of Tarboro, NC and Eddie Sloan of Benton, TN and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the family residence at 4017 Highway 411 North in Madisonville, TN on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held around 8:00 PM on Thursday evening during the visitation with the Reverend Tim Townsend officiating.
