Carolyn Jean "Mam" Myers

Carolyn Jean “Mam” Myers, 70, of Cleveland, TN passed away on June 19, 2018. She was born on February 21, 1948 to the late Roy and Pauline Lovin. Mam was born and raised in Cleveland, TN and was a member of Graceway Chapel Church. She enjoyed being a caretaker and was an advocate for the fight against cancer. Above all, Mam loved making memories with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Myers and daughter Sharon Keith. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons Wayne Wilson (Amber) and Gary Shuler (Brooke); daughter Lela Casson (Jimmy); brother Larry Vines (Deborah); sisters: Linda Rivera (Dixon), Delilah Driggers, Janet Tucker (Claude), and Brenda Williams; stepchildren Anna Myers and Jennie Myers. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday June 22, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday June 23, 2018. The family will also receive friends from 11:00am until 1:00pm prior to the service Saturday. Interment will be at the Fort Hill Veterans Section following the service on Saturday.
