Obituary

Caroline Jenkins Henry, 79, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Saturday night, March 8th, 2014 at the home of her son in Delano, TN. Caroline was born in Lancaster, SC on October 30th, 1934 a daughter of the late Benny and Wilma Jenkins. She has made Cleveland her home for the past twenty one plus years moving her from South Carolina. Caroline was a member of Michigan Avenue Church of God where she was very active until her declining health. She enjoyed reading her Bible and sharing who faith with those she came in contact with.

In addition to her parents Caroline is preceded in death by two sons Billy Henry and Benji Henry, two sisters Louise Player and Bobby Pearson and three brothers Gerald Jenkins, Jimmy Jenkins and Tommie Jenkins.

Caroline leaves behind to cherish her memory one son Tim Henry of Delano, TN, two grandchildren Lacy Lemley and her husband Landon and Jordan Henry, one sister Leitha Twitty, one brother Donald Jenkins, numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday night, March 11th, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Michigan Avenue Church of God located at 515 Minnis Road SE in Cleveland, TN with Pastor David Boles officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday night from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.

We will meet in the Benton Memorial Gardens in Benton, TN on Wednesday, March 12th, 2014 at 4:30 PM for interment and committal service.
