Carol Christine Godfrey

Carol Christine Godfrey, 70 was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, August 30, 2021. Christine was special in so many ways the day she was born everybody commented on how beautiful she was! Christine loved everybody but especially loved children.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents Jake and Marie Godfrey her brother Bobby Godfrey and brother-in-law Joseph Paul Runion and sister Sheila Francine Runion.
Christine is survived by her brother Jerry Godfrey of Whitney Texas, sister Marsha Everett (Ted )of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, brother Larry Godfrey of Charleston, sister Carolyn Kazy of Cleveland, sister Mary Payne of Charleston and brother Paul Godfrey of Georgetown TN. A host of nieces and nephews.
A special thanks goes to Bradley Cleveland Services for the years of care for our Christine, too many names to mention.
The family will receive friends Saturday September 4, 2021 from 3:00-4:00 in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Rd. Cleveland, TN 37312. Christine’s graveside service will immediately follow at Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery in Charleston, TN with the Rev. Wayne Covington officiating. Brian Runion, Joshua Everett, Justin Everett, Ben Kazy, Zack Payne, Jeremiah Payne, Cody Godfrey and Tucker Godfrey serving as pallbearers.
