Carol Bishop

Carol Yvonne Moore Bishop, of Madisonville, passed away on March 11, 2024 at her residence. She was born on January 23, 1940 in Stringtown, Oklahoma to the late Thomas and Mattie (Stanford) Moore. She worked in carpet manufacturing with Shaw for 27 years. Carol was of Baptist faith and was an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Aster Bishop; son, Johnny William Bishop; grandson, Jason Daniel Colbaugh; sisters, Betty Manion, Glenda Lansdale, Linda Hinkle; brothers, Lee Otis, Tommy Moore, David Moore and Dan Moore.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Hope E. Bishop Colbaugh of Madisonville; granddaughter, Jessica L. Colbaugh Hicks (Chris) of Madisonville; great grandsons, Christopher "Kaelan" Kile of Madisonville, Hayden Lynn Hicks of Madisonville, daughter in-law, Susan Farmer of Decatur, and a very special service dog, Bo Kile.
