Carlos Trapp

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carlos Lee Trapp on Nov 7th, 2023, in Chattanooga, TN. Carlos was born on Nov 18th 1943, in Lester, Alabama. Carlos was a Loving Father and Husband. He enjoyed running, reading and traveling. Carlos was a diehard Alabama Football and Atlanta Braves fan. He loved to talk sports. His idea of the perfect afternoon was talking football or baseball stats with his son Benjy. He was an Electrical Engineer and retired from TVA. Carlos joined the Navy, Nov 1961, as an Aviation Electronics Technician. He attained the rank of Senior Chief. Senior Chief Trapp retired from the Navy Reserves Aug 1991.

Survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Elva Mauvlene Trapp and Father, Harold Rufus Trapp. His Wife Nina Faye Trapp and Son, Charles Benjamin "Benjy" Trapp. Sisters, Majorie Hughes and Brenda Casey and Brother, Kenneth Trapp.

Funeral services will be held on Nov 18th, 11:00am Central at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3512 S Broad St, Scottsboro, AL. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice in his name.
