Obituary
Carlos Manuel Diaz, 82, a resident of Cleveland passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 in a Cleveland health care facility. Carlos was born on January 6, 1930 in Cuba. Carlos came to New York at age 17 and began working in the restaurant industry. After marring, he and his wife moved to the Miami Florida area and lived there until approximately three years ago when he moved to Cleveland to live with his daughter Gloria. He was of the Catholic faith. His hobbies included scuba diving, reef diving, and saltwater fishing, but will be most remembered for being a loving father and grandfather.
Carlos is preceded in death by his wife Elia Diaz.
He leaves behind two daughters Gloria St. Clair (David) of Cleveland, TN, and Isabel Diaz of Miami, FL, one son Carlos M. Diaz Jr. of Coleman, FL, and seven grandchildren: Cameron N. St Clair, Brittany Paige St. Clair, Edwin Carrasquillo, Atnwan Diaz, Alexis Diaz, Jasmine Diaz, and Raul Diaz, and a host of other extended family members and friends.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
