Carlos Liner

Carlos Eugene Liner, 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at his residence on October 1, 2024. He was a devout Christian and loved the Lord profoundly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Loma Liner; wife of 54 years, Mary Sue Liner; sisters and many brothers.

He is survived by his daughters, Carla Liner, Rita Garringer; grandsons, Chris Garringer (Heather), Brent Garringer (Ericka); great-grandchildren, Brycen, Gavin, Haylee and Jaxon Garringer; cousins, nieces and nephews and special friend, Pat Dennis.

Visitation services will be on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, 400 S. White St., Athens, TN 37303. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00am with Pastor Stan Cantrell officiating, and take place at Calhoun Community Cemetery located at First Baptist Church, 107 Church St., Calhoun, Tn 37309.
