Carl Wilson

Carl Wilson, 73, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Carl was born on July 14, 1950, in Copper Hill, Tennessee to the late Ernest and Vinnie Wilson.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Derek Wilson; grandchildren, Logan, and Jakob Wilson; brothers, James Wilson, Guinn Wilson, Terry Wilson, and Ted Wilson; and his sister, Lois Helen Wilson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of nearly 53 years, Pam Wilson; Daughter, April (Tony) Land; Grandsons, Noah, and Ethan Land; brothers, Ed (Sybil) Wilson, Johnny (Jeanette) Wilson; and his sister, Barbara Wilson; Carl is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Carl was saved by our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, and was of the Baptist faith. He worked at International Paper for 43 years. He loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and riding his Harley.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all Doctors and Nurses at Dialysis Care Center TN, Home Health Amedisys, and Hearth Hospice.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Pastor John Cain officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Noah Land, Ethan Land, Matthew Stratton, Bill Beck, Parker Beck, Jim Smith, and Robert Dye.
