Obituary

Carl “Tommy” Cash Jr., 63, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Tuesday morning, June 10th, 2014 at his home. Tommy was born on December 21st, 1950 a son of the late Carl Sr. & Mary Cash. Tommy was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army after faithfully serving his country. He was retired from the Bradley County School System where he served in the maintenance department for many years. Tommy was an avid fisherman and loved the great outdoors.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Karen Elaine Cash, one sister Mary Dixon and one brother Jimmy Cash.

Tommy leaves behind to cherish his memory his two sons Jason Cash and Brandon Cash and wife Tracey, two grandchildren Chealsea Sadler and Knox Cash, one sister-in-law Connie Street, one brother-in-law Harold Dixon, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of Tommy’s life is planned for 7:00 PM on Friday, June 13th, 2014 in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Herb Conley officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.

The service will conclude with military honors to honors Tommy’s service to his country.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Tommy’s memory.
