Carl Makepeace

Carl Makepeace Died Oct 7th, 2021, in Cleveland TN, he was 57 years old. Carl was from the Florida Keys and recently moved to his 8.5 acres in Birchwood TN, where he was building his dream home. Carl loved cooking, motorcycles, strong man competition and telling stories, for those willing to sit through his LONG stories. Carl collected many of his stories from family, friends, and his career as a Fed-ex courier. As the old saying goes “To know Carl was to Love Carl”. He left an impression on everyone he met; he truly knew no strangers. He was a member of Church of the Highlands, where he had come to love the many members who greeted and made him feel like an instant friend.

Carl is survived by his father- Borden Makepeace, Mother- Maryann Edwards, brother- GB Makepeace, Uncles- David (Linda) Makepeace, Robert Makepeace, many nephews and nieces, fur babies Bean and Bruno and his loving wife, Kelli Makepeace who will miss him deeply. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Edna Makepeace, Stepmother- Johanna Makepeace, Suki Makepeace and his first love, his Yamaha Motorcycle (for all that new that story).

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donate to any local animal shelter or adopt a fur baby.
