Butch Nelson

Butch Nelson, 67 of Pikeville, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his home. Born in Michigan, he was a 1971 graduate of Ooltewah high school and lived in the area until moving to Pikeville 5 years ago. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed cars. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Bluford Cochran and Ruth Pearl Duncan; and sisters, Brenda Gail Myers and Betty Jeanette Holloway.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Anthony Nelson, Darrin Jump, Kristen Nelson and Kelly (Mitch) Reynolds; and several grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, June 18, 2020 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following visitation with Dr. Steve Ball officiating.
