Brinda Fay Roper (Mooney) passed away on March 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a zest for life. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on March 22, 1951, Brinda was a vibrant soul who embraced the world with open arms.

Brinda was a true free spirit, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her love for music was infectious, and she could often be found dancing to her favorite tunes, her laughter filling the room. She had a deep affection for animals. Brinda's love for purple reflected her vibrant personality - bold, vibrant, and full of life.

Brinda is preceded in death by her loving parents, Clarence Mooney, and Mildred Mooney (Hunley), as well as several cherished siblings. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories to be treasured by her son, Gary Songer Jr., daughters Evelyn Songer and Lisa Schmitz, and her beloved grandchildren: Breanna Bones, Austin Bones, Nathan Bones, Emily Frederick, and Daimon Tinker. She is also survived by her dear sister, Evelyn Stiltner, and numerous nieces and nephews who adored her.

In her final days, Brinda was surrounded by the love of her family and the compassionate care of Hospice of Chattanooga. A special thanks for their kindness and support brought comfort during her journey.

Brinda Fay Roper will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her warmth, kindness, and infectious joy.
