Brett Maverick Erlewine

Brett Maverick Erlewine 48 of Knoxville, TN went peacefully to go be with Lord on Monday June 19, 2023 at Beverly Park Place. Brett was born October 4, 1974 in Marion, OH, to the Late Harry Junior Erlewine and Candie Oldaker. He was a member of Christ the Rock Church of God, located in Knoxville Tennessee. Brett enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with family. He had a love for animals and a compassion for all people. Brett’s faith was important to him, during his entire battle with cancer he kept his hope and positivity while still showing compassion for others.

Brett had a huge passion for music, he loved all music his favorite song was “I’ll fly away”. No matter what he was facing he always kept a positive outlook. During his fight with cancer he made sure to let everyone know that God has him and this wasn’t a death sentence. Brett finally got his healing and is having a great time in Heaven. Knowing this gives his loved one’s comfort and peace.

Brett is preceded in death by his father Harry Junior Erlewine, grandparents Dorthy and Garland Oldaker, uncles Rogers and William Oldaker, and Aunt Debbie Cremeans (Turner). He is survived by his Mother Candie Dray of OH and Sister Sarah & (Michael) of Knoxville, TN and Aunts Anita (Bob) Donohue of WV, Barb (Mike) Shiflet of OH, Connie Folden of FL, Sonya Oldaker of OH, Diana Powers of OH and Jayme Morris of OH. Uncles Roy (Candice) Oldaker of OH, and James (LaDonna) Oldaker of OH. Along with many cousins. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date. Final Arrangements have been entrusted to Companion Funeral and Cremation, Athens Chapel.
