Obituary
Brent Alan Droke, 49, a resident of Sweetwater, TN passed away on Friday night, October 18th, 2013. Brent was born in York, AL but moved with his parents as a young child to Cleveland, TN where he was raised and graduated from Bradley Central High School in 1982. He was a member of the Cleveland Christian Church. Brent was currently employed with Don Ledford Automotive in Cleveland, TN. He loved antiques and was an avid Alabama football fan. Above all Brent was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Brent leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of thirteen years Kerry Smith Droke, two step sons Anthony & Zakary Jones, one daughter and son-in-law Callie and Matt Gentry of Etowah, TN, father and mother James & Naomi Droke of Cleveland, TN, three granddaughters Emily, Lily and Kylee Gentry, one step daughter Ashley Cross and her husband Mitch and one step grandson Colton Riden. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Thursday night, October 24th, 2013 at 8:00 PM at the Cleveland Christian Church located at 3448 Davis Circle in Cleveland, TN with Minister Louis Rouse officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00 PM until the 8:00 PM service time.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Cleveland Christian Church in Brent’s memory.
