Boyd Hearl Hutchings

Obituary

Boyd Hearl Hutchings passed away July 2, 2014 after a long illness. He was born on December 7, 1933 to Otis and Willie Hutchings of Sparta, TN. He retired after 21 years with the Bayer Corporation as a Sales and Services Engineer. He attended Hopewell Baptist Church, where he enjoyed fixing anything that was broken.

Survivors include his wife Betty of 58 years, one son Boyd Alan, daughter Erica Michelle, one brother and his wife Royce and Lorene Hutchings of Sparta, one nephew Greg Hutchings, a niece Christy McCaleb. In addition to these, he leaves behind many friends and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday July 5, 2014 at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ed Eldredge will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Everett Harris, Bob Loope, Dan Johnson, and Doug Lance.
