Bonnie Scarbrough

Bonnie Scarbrough (Woods), 74, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday November 14, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, due to complications from her 3 and a half month battle with pancreatitis.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Johnson, and father, Oscar Swafford, four brothers and her beloved son, Terry Southerland.

Bonnie left behind to cherish her memory, two daughters whom she was very close to, were by her side in life and at her death, Lisa Woods (Tiffany Mouser) of Cleveland, Lola Dewitt (Eddie) of Knoxville, two sons, Barry Southerland of Cleveland, and Steve Swafford of Cleveland, grandchildren, Brittney Dewitt of Knoxville, Josh Dewitt (Kayla) of New Market, TN, Christopher and (Rachael) Southerland of Cleveland and Brandon and (Jessica) Southerland of Monteagle. Great-grandchildren, Blake Dewitt, Arden Dewitt, Adelyn Dewitt, and Dylan Dewitt, brothers, Jimmy Ray Swafford, Dennis Swafford, and sister Hazel Slack. Bonnie also left behind many special friends with whom she has worked with over the years.

Bonnie’s wishes were to be cremated and have a private family service.
The family wants to thanks the doctors and nurses at Erlanger SICU and those doctors and nurses at Kindred Hospital as well.
