Bonnie Opal Honaker

Bonnie Opal Honaker, 85, a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Grace Healthcare of Decatur, TN. Bonnie was affiliated with the Church of God of Prophecy and was an avid church goer. Bonnie was an incredible mother, and her love for her children was rivaled by nothing else. She also liked to garden in her spare time and loved to keep up with sports especially basketball. Bonnie was loved by all who met her and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents Denver and Syrena Bess; brothers Marvin Bess, Alton Bess, Errol Bess, Gerald Bess and sister Patty Chadwell.
Bonnie leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Donald Honaker; sons Donnie Honaker(Denise) and Ronnie Honaker; daughters Sheila Honaker, Sherry Honaker Doroshuk(Brian); brother Bernard Bess(Carolyn); sister Madge Kate Donnally(Wavell); eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, with the internment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, Tn.
