Bonnie F. McCallie

Bonnie Faye McCallie, 83, passed away on May 25, 2025. She was born to the late Carl J. and Bessie M. Hayes on December 5, 1941 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Bonnie enjoyed gardening, especially growing flowers, shrubs, and plants. She adored her family, and on special days where they all gathered, Bonnie loved to plan and prepare their meals.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her siblings, Calvin Hayes, Carolyn Cantrell, and Judy Mosley, and her in-laws, William H. And Dorothy W. McCallie.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, John E. McCallie, sons, John K. (Mary) and Jimmy R. (Kathryn) McCallie, grandchildren, Alicia (Rob) Berger, Karen (Scott) Powers, Brandy Spencer, Terry (Brittany) Murphy, Katheryn (Ray) Blankinship, great-grandchildren, John and Nathan Walker, Haley Mudd, Makayall and Kaitlyn Powers, Chloe Salton, Ridge Berger, Bralynn, Blakelyn, Brylee and Braden Murphy, Cash, Shy, and Bonnie Blankinship, great-great-grandchild, JJ Mudd, and her siblings, Dovie (Harold) Manle, Wanda (Joe) Minten, Larry (Connie) Hayes and Randy (Shirley) Hayes.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Chapel. Following the visitation a graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm at McInturff Cemetery in Birchwood, Tennessee with Chaplain Chris Lindeman officiating.
