Bobby G. Hamilton

Bobby Gene Hamilton, 81, of Cleveland, went home to his loving Savior on April 2, 2022.

Bob was married to the love of his life, Shelby, for 63 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Mary Sue Hamilton.

Survivors include his two sons, Billy Hamilton and wife Tonia, and Mike Hamilton, all of Cleveland and Cheryl Merritt of Ooltewah; three wonderful grandchildren: Josh Hamilton and wife Brittany, Valerie Manley and husband Grant, and Christian Hamilton and wife Cambria; three great-grandchildren who were the light of his life, Sophia, Avery, and Emery Hamilton; a long time family friend, Alicia Wyatt, who he loved like a daughter.

Bob was a Godly man who devoted his life to the Lord and his family. He proudly supported The Seekers gospel singing group for 31 years. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at Grasshopper Creek Campground. Bob was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and Alhambra Shriners. He enjoyed word puzzles, loved to read the Bible, and collected John Deere tractors.

Visitation will be on April 4, 2022, at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland from 4-7pm. Funeral service to follow. Officiating will be Doug Ingram and Dennis Cagle.

Interment will be at Samples Memorial Baptist Church on April 5th at 11am. Pallbearers include: Christian Hamilton, Josh Hamilton, Avery Hamilton, Grant Manley, Mike Green, Heath Green, and Brandon Ingram.
