Obituary
Bobby Edward Hurst, 71, a resident of Cleveland passed away on Friday morning, February 15, 2013 at his home. Bobby was born in Maryville, TN on September 13, 1941a son of the late Clell and Minnie Hurst. Bobby a native of Maryville has made Cleveland his home for the past fifteen plus years. He was of the Baptist faith. Bobby worked for many years as a truck driver. He enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales in his past time. Bobby was instrumental in helping to build the Bible Baptist Church where he also served as a lay pastor.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Connie Douglas and one brother Bill Hurst.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of seventeen years Wanda Redwine Hurst, one daughter Susan Hurst, one son Bobby Edward Hurst Jr., two step daughters Oma Dockery and Glenda Bishop, three Step sons John Baldwin, Ralph Baldwin, and Chris Baldwin, several grandchildren, nieces Bridgette Dallas, Gail Davis, and Renee Tipton, several nephews, numerous other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Tuesday, February 19th, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Stuart Park Baptist Church located at 850 17th Street in Cleveland, TN. Interment will follow in the Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Blount, TN.
The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 Pm service time.
