Brad Casteel

Bobby Brad Casteel, 54, of Englewood, TN passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024. He was a native of the Liberty Hill community near Englewood and a lifelong resident of McMinn County. He worked most of his life as a Machinist and a Machine Instructor.

Bobby was incredibly hard-working. Many people know Brad as the most precise machinist and knowledgeable instructor. Others know him as the most kind and devoted softball coach. He attended The First Church of God in Athens for many years.

He was a son of the late Bobby Ray Casteel, and was also preceded in death by Grandparents, Ray and Nellie Mae Casteel; Grandparents, Frank and Nina Raby; Uncles, Jacky Casteel and Sonny Land; Cousin, Trampus Land.

Bobby is survived by his daughter, Kelby Pendleton and her husband, Aaron Pendleton; his mother, Dena Newman, and her husband, Walter Newman; his aunt, Helen Land; two brothers, Danny Humphrey and Robin Humphrey. Along with many other friends and family members.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home in Athens, TN. There will be a service to follow at 7:00 pm.
