Bobbie Sue Miller

Bobbie Sue Miller, 86, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on May 1, 2017 at home, surrounded by loved ones. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She loved spending time with family and her life’s goal was to take care of others. She was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church, serving many years as a Sunday School teacher. She began working at an early age at Cleveland National Bank before joining her husband who served in the Army during WWII. After returning to Cleveland, she began working for Brown Stove for 40 years. Bobbie retired to take care of her husband for three years, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. After his passing, she continued to help those in need by working as an office manager and caregiver with the Alzheimer’s Association for 8 years. She worked with RSVP in the Bradley and Polk County area for 15 years and as well as with the Foster Grandparent program for 5 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, James Arthur Miller; parents, Albert Newton & Nannie Mae Cline; sisters, Virginia Ann Burgess and Ella Jo Daily; brother-in-law, Mack Daily; and niece, Virginia Louise Bain.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her brother, Terry Lynn Cline (Gianetta); brother-in-law, Verbon Richard Burgess; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
There will be no public service at this time.
