Billy Joe Rogers, known for his love of fishing, hunting, and gardening, peacefully passed away on March 23, 2024, at his residence in Birchwood, TN. Born on May 29, 1941, in Cleveland, TN, to Lester Rogers and Mildred Oliver Rogers, Billy was a dedicated employee of Caldwell Paving for an impressive 69 years, playing a pivotal role in the company's growth.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Rogers. Throughout his life, Billy cherished his 52-year marriage to his beloved wife, Ethel Rogers, and the couple shared a loving family. He is survived by his daughters Brenda Scoggins and Sharon Jenkins, along with his siblings Pete Rogers and Martha Bean. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren Dana Scoggins, Kali Davis, Krysta Bridwell, and Courtney Davis, as well as his great-grandchildren River, Briley, Daisee, Blossie, Josie, Sophie, Rylei, and Henry.

His family will receive friends on Thursday, March 28th, from 11am to 3pm at Burdette Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3pm, officiated by Rev. David Evans. The funeral service will culminate with Billy's burial at McClanahan Cemetery in Birchwood.
