Billy Robinson

Billy Robinson passed away peacefully on June 21, 2024, just shy of her 90th birthday. She had been in the loving care of her daughter and grandson for the past two years, in Harrison, Tennessee.

Billy was born the youngest of four girls on July 17,1934 in Omar, West Virginia to Wilbert M. and Maude Garrett Langdon. She moved to Shreveport, Louisiana in 1975, but her time living and working in St. Louis, always held a special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by the following, whom she loved and missed dearly: her husband, Clifton H. Robinson Jr., her son, Michael Matheney and sisters Madeline Carnohan and Avonelle Lanaris.

Billy is survived by her sister, Dolores Cook, daughter Sheree Evans, sons Steve Matheney and Richard Robinson.

She was known as Granbilly to her grandchildren; James (Robin) and Wesley Meller, Stephanie (Kyle) Teitz, April White, Madden Robinson, Devon Konney and Buddy Herman.

She was known as GG to her great grandchildren; Aubrey Meller, Ella Meller, Wesley Schreckenbach, Harlee and Cora Teitz, Robert White, and Makinzie Nesloney.

Billy was Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

There were also so many that affectionately called her mom.
