Billy Queen

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Billy John Queen, who was known to everyone by Johnny, departed this life on May 16, 2024 at the age of 66. Born to the late Bill Queen and Lorene Brown, Billy was a cherished son, a beloved brother, and a dear friend to many.

Of the Baptist faith, Billy found solace and strength in his spiritual beliefs. His faith guided him through life's challenges and was a cornerstone of his identity.

A passionate outdoorsman, He loved hunting and fishing. These hobbies were more than pastimes; they were his way of connecting with nature and finding peace and joy in the world around him. Many of his happiest moments were spent in the great outdoors, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility he cherished.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, Bill Queen. He is survived by his devoted mother, Lorene Brown; his loving siblings, Jan (Eric) Cunningham, Douglas Tinsley, Chuck Tinsley, Anne Cook, and Veronica (Kenneth) Welch; and numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember him as a caring and generous uncle.

His legacy is one of kindness, faith, and a love for nature. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
