Billy Jay Harper, 88, of Georgetown, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Signature Healthcare in Cleveland, TN.

Bill was a marine veteran. He was married to his late wife, Betty Harper for 70 years. Bill and his wife were over the 58-boat dock and campgrounds, and the Agency Creek Campgrounds for several years. Bill loved being around people and he never met a stranger. He loved his family and would go out of his way to help anyone that needed it. He enjoyed planting gardens, fishing, and loved his dogs.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Harper; son, Stevie Harper; parents, Nellie and Hewlitt Harper; his brothers, Wiley Harper, Larry Harper, and Kenny Harper all of Cleveland, TN.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Jimmy (Teresa) Harper, Jeff (Pam) Harper, Brenda Morrow, and Darlene Dayberry all of Cleveland, TN; sisters, Helen White of Ardmore, OK, Joy Casteel of Athens, TN, Pat (Walter) Roberts of Athens, TN, Vicki (Bill) Edwards of Cleveland, TN, Sharon (Dennis) Hacker of Cross Plains, TN, and Michael (Debbie) Harper of Charleston, TN; brother in law, Bill (Judy) Rogers of Cleveland, TN; Bill also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, along with a host of several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of Flowers the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the American Diabetes Association in Billy's name.
