Billie McCarthy

Billie Faye McCarthy, 80, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Faye was born on February 9, 1944 in Riceville, Tennessee to the late William and Ruth Lunsford. Faye had many hobbies including canning, gardening, working in her flowers, and quilting. She also enjoyed watching TV. Her favorite shows were Survivor and Big Brother.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Richard McCarthy; her son, Harold (Phyllis) Black; her granddaughters, Chrystal (John) Callahan, and Gina Casias; her great grandson, Christopher Callahan; brother, Paul (Joyce) Lunsford; and her sister, Darlene (Eddie) Woods; along with a host of extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to The Tennova infusion center, Life Care Center of Cleveland, South Skilled Nursing, and TN oncology of Cleveland.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland at 1:00 pm with Reverend Guinn Green officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
