Billie Mae Howell

Billie Mae Howell, 87, a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Saturday night, May 28, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Billie was born in Louisiana on March 24, 1935. She moved to Tennessee as a young adult to study to be a nurse where she met Winford. They married in 1963 and enjoyed 54 happy years together. She was a wonderful nurse, loving mother, and devoted Nana until her passing on May 28th, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her Parents Willie and Hyacinth Crowson, her loving husband Winford, her brothers Glen, Carl and Michael Crowson, and her son-in-law Jeff Barber.

She is survived by her two brothers Gene (Barbara) and Jimmy (Linda) Crowson, five children John McKee (Brenda), Sherry Barber, Chip Howell (Penny), Carey Howell and Timmy Howell with 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and two sister in laws Sharon Crowson and Helen Crowson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland located at 2415 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN.

A service celebrating her life will follow the visitation time at 4:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest best her beloved husband Winford.

Chip Howell, Carey Howell, Nick Howell, Brad Donegan, Joey Gressett and Christian Massicotte will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Chance Gressett, Caleb Howell, Caden Howell, Timmy Howell and John McKee.
