Billie Jean Dunn

Billie Jean Dunn, 85, finished her journey home to heaven the 28th day of May 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was born December 10, 1936, to Luther James Ellis and Dorothy (Burrell) Ellis. She is survived by her Husband and friend of 59 years, Paul Fenton Dunn of Athens, Children and spouses David and Patricia Dunn of Athens, Teresa and Andrew Provence of Cleveland, and Angela Dunn of Sorrento Fl., Grandchildren, Cody and Melanie Dunn, Kyle Dunn, Shelly and Steven Evans and Cassisdi Mirandi and special Bonus Grandchild (Little) Teresa Lawson Great Grandchildren Alyssa Dunn and Archer Evans along with several nieces and nephews who adored her with all their hearts. She was from a large family of seven sisters, Gwendlynn Quinn, Sue Davis, Dean Couch, Jimmie Jones, Faye Pace, Marilyn Dalton, and Juanette DeFriese and four brothers C.J, Buford, Claude and David Ellis all of Cleveland. She was known for her loving and caring spirit where she tirelessly
aspired to be a help and inspiration to everyone around her. Her faith was paramount in her life, and she will be sorely missed by church family & friends. She did so much for so many without any expectations of anything in return, from just holding and rocking us or gently twisting our hair or rubbing our brow to being trapped in the delivery room where just being there made everything all right. We are ever thankful for the endless prayers she prayed, and the silent lessons learned at her side. Funeral services will be held at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland TN on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 3:300 PM with Pastor Herman Jordan and Jim Parm officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens following the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time.
