Billie Jean Bennett

Billie Jean Bennett, 90, of Cleveland, TN passed away on November 17, 2020. She was born on August 31, 1930 to the late Thomas Brent Williams and Alice Pearl Gann Williams. Jean was a tremendous woman of God who always had God first, family and then friends. She was married to James L. Bennett, one of the founding members of Waterville Baptist Church, for 68 years. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, and husband of 68 years, James Bennett; niece Alice Joe Gann; uncle “Red” Gann and Thomas Brent Williams Jr.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons: Dennis Bennett and James Bennett Jr. ; ,To carry on her legacy will be her grandchildren Douglas(Sheila)Bennett,Jennifer Exum,Christine Bennett,Patricia (Richard)Hall,Misty Bennett and GreatGrand Daughters London,Sofie Exum,Shelby Johnson ,Great Grandsons Dyess Johnson, Maceo Exum, Zachary Goins, Alexander Bennett,Peyton Hall and William(Ashley) HallGreat great grand Daughters Charleigh Hall, Scarlett Jones and Great Great Grandson Kadence Goins
Jean will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery with her husband James.
